Falls Prevention Class aims to safeguard the community

Dr Louise Dyson and Dr Anna Clark thrilled to announce an collaborative initiative in the community – the Falls Prevention Class, a comprehensive programme designed to promote safety and well-being among local residents.

Spearheaded by highly qualified physiotherapists, Dr Louise Dyson of Prehab Physio and Dr Anna Clark of BodyWorks, this class focuses on enhancing strength, balance, mobility and confidence to reduce the risk of falls.

The 8 week programme is based at Injury Clinic 59 Chapel Street in Glossop and begins at 11am on 1st March.

Sessions are 45 minutes and will cost £95 for 8 sessions. 

Programme highlights include:

1. Tailored exercises specifically crafted to aid fall prevention: The class targets strength, balance, mobility and confidence.

2. Evidence-based approach: Informed by the latest research in falls prevention, ensuring both effectiveness and safety.

3. Group support: Fostered in a fun and supportive environment, participants benefit from motivation and friendship.

They believe that this Falls Prevention Class will significantly contribute to the well-being of our community, especially those at an increased risk of falls. As esteemed healthcare providers, we extend an invitation to our local residents who may find this programme beneficial.
