All eight of High Peak's libraries are now back open and have reverted back to their usual opening times. 

The libraries in the borough are: 

  • Glossop (Talbot Road)
  • Gamesley (Grindleford Grove) 
  • Hadfield (Station Road)
  • Chapel-en-le-Frith (Market Square) 
  • Hayfield (Kinder Road)
  • Buxton (Kents Bank Road)
  • New Mills (Hall Street)
  • Whaley Bridge (Market Street)

The mobile library service in Buxton has also started again for mornings only and following new routes. It's operating a 'book and borrow' system, where people need to phone to book an appointment and will be able to pick up a maximum of 10 books.
