Fire alarms set off in Glossop

Police are investigating an incident of Anti-Social Behaviour that saw youths setting off fire alarms at the Travel Lodge in Glossop.

The incident took place on Wednesday, 14thJune, sometime around 8.20pm when a group of four young males entered the Travel Lodge Hotel on Howard Town. 

The group then proceeded to set off the fire alarms and when challenged by staff left the scene. 

At least two members of the group who are all believed to be aged between 14-16 were wearing dark coloured baseball caps - one of the group was wearing light blue coloured shorts.

If anyone witnessed the incident and are willing to provide a statement or have CCTV or Dash Cam footage, they are asked to contact police quoting reference number 23000365858. 

They can get in touch through the police website, direct messaging on social media or by calling 101. The Officer in this case is PCSO Buller.
