Fire crews called after fuel spill in Hadfield

Fire crews have been called out to a fuel spill in Hadfield.

Residents on Vale House Drive became concerned on Wednesday (21 September) when a group of men were seen draining the fuel tank of a car.

It was feared that the fuel leak could combust if a cigarette end was thrown near to it.

Crews hosed the road down and made the area safe.
