Fire crews in Glossop are once again appealing to the town's motorists to 'think before you park'.
The latest plea comes after on-call firefighters were responding to an incident in Glossop on Saturday (11 December) but couldn't get to the address in question in the fire engine due to parked cars.
Glossop Fire Station said in a Facebook post: "Thankfully this was a false alarm but, if it had been a serious incident, it could have impeded on dealing with it.
"Please think before you park as it could end up being you or a loved one that needs the emergency services and they may not be able to get there."
