A six-week consultation has been launched by Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service on the budget for 2023/24 and their Community Risk Management Plan for 2023-2026.
The management plan sets out Fire and Rescue Authorities strategic assessment and long-term approach to mitigating and reducing the risk from fire, road traffic collisions and other emergency incidents.
Derbyshire’s Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive, Gavin Tomlinson, said: “Our Plan is the golden thread that can be seen running from our business and financial planning, through to the planned programme of work that links to our Service priorities, all of which support our vision of Making Derbyshire Safer Together.
“Everyone can get involved in the consultation – Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service is your fire and rescue service, and it is you who we work to keep safe through the delivery of Our Plan 2023 – 26, and it is your public money that funds that work, so naturally we want your views.”
The consultation is open until midnight on 13 January 2023.
The consultation and supporting documents can be accessed through the website www.derbys-fire.gov.uk and searching ‘Have your say.’
