First textile art exhibition coming to The Craft Barn in Hadfield

'Fabric, Fibres and Thread' is the first textile art exhibition to be held at the Wall in the Barn, the gallery space in The Craft Barn in Hadfield.

In total, 32 artists are participating, including Year 11 textile art students from Glossopdale School whose work will feature alongside that of professional artists.

Lots of creative skills will be represented, including felting, hand embroidery, hand-printed fabric, appliqué, free motion machine embroidery, weaving and silk painting.

Manager of The Craft Barn, Julia Norton, told us: "I am thrilled that we have had such a fantastic response to this exhibition. Everyone is very welcome to come and take a look at all the amazing creative talent in this community."

The exhibition is open this Thursday, 10am to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm; then Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm each day.
