A flower festival is set to blossom again this summer for the first time following the pandemic.
Hayfield St John’s Flower Festival will be in full bloom between Sunday 3 July and Saturday 9 July.
The theme for the festival is "Think of a world without any flowers".
It will be held in the beautiful and historic St John's Methodist chapel in Hayfield, off New Mills Road.
A well dressing adjoins the church and wells throughout the village will also be dressed.
The chapel will be open on Saturday and weekdays from 11am to 4.30pm and on the Sundays from 2pm to 4.30pm. There is no charge to view but donations are welcome with light refreshments available to buy. Parties are welcome (although prior notification is preferred and appreciated).
There will be a closing Songs of Praise service on Sunday 10 July at 6pm.
