Glossopdale Foodbank is appealing for the public's support to donate items which it is currently running low on.
Glossop's main foodbank is short of rice pudding, custard, sugar (500g or 1kg bags), UHT Milk, tinned sweetcorn, tea bags (boxes of 40 or 80), cold tinned meat (e.g. corned beef), toilet paper and sanitary items.
Food can be donated in donation baskets at Glossop Tesco’s, Marks and Spencer’s, Glossop Leisure Centre, Glossop Wholefoods, Bradbury House, Hadfield Library, Gamesley Early Excellence Centre and the Co-op in Simmondley.
Dogs Trust Manchester is raising awareness about why some dogs are trained to wear a muzzle, hoping to change perceptions and encourage more people to consider adopting one of the muzzled dogs patiently waiting for their forever homes.
