Ford cars targeted by thieves

Police are warning owners of Ford cars after a number of the vehicles were targeted in Whaley Bridge, New Mills and Chapel.

A car was stolen from addresses in Chapel and New Mills, and alloy wheels were stolen in Whaley Bridge.

The thefts occurred last week on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 January.

Derbyshire Police are warning owners of such vehicles to take extra precautions - such as using steering locks - to make their vehicles more secure and less easy to steal.
