Friends group for park in Chapel

A friends group is being formed to help oversee the future development of Chapel Memorial Park.

The move follows a successful consultation carried out last year by Chapel Parish Council and Shift to find out what the community wanted the park to look like in the future.

Over the next few months work will take place to put some of the recommendations put forward into action.

Already a number of changes have been made to the park including the installation of a number of picnic benches, a tidy up of the wildlife area and a new sculpture will be unveiled soon.

The new group is open to anyone who had a bit of time an energy to support the development of the park.

Anyone who wants to get involved is asked to contact Emma Beswick from Shift by emailing emma@shift-together.co.uk
