Friends of Glossop Station are celebrating the coronation of King Charles III with a special commemorative display on the poetry platform.
It features three appropriate poems from Florence Van Leer Earle Coates, Emily Dickinson and Thomas Hardy, alongside an extract from King Canute's 1016 letter to his subjects.
FoGS hope visitors to the station enjoy the new display and poetry chosen for the unique occasion.
The display will remain for the next few weeks before it is changed to a selection of poems for 'Summer' which will be the final collection in the current series of 'seasonal' selections.
Visitors to the station can also enjoy the current exhibition in the Waiting Room Art Gallery.
It is the first exhibition of work created by Mind the Gap, a group of young people between the ages of eleven and eighteen.
Working with Glossop Arts Project, who developed the creative sessions for Mind The Gap, the group focusses on young people locally who may be experiencing a lack of self-esteem and anxiety using art as a vehicle to build confidence and self-assurance.
The exhibition shows work from the group's latest project to make a creature from various materials and illustrates the stages of their development in a very creative and imaginative manner.
The display can be viewed daily in the Waiting Room Art Gallery at the station.
