Get festive and raise funds for Reuben's Retreat

Glossop-based Reuben's Retreat have organised two more fundraising events to get people in the festive spirit throughout December.

Following the success of their Halloween activities, the charity will be holding a 'Santa Dash' - a festive virtual challenge where people can run for Reuben's during December and receive a special festive medal.

You can run, walk, wheel or dance any distance and fancy dress is optional.

Participants are being encouraged to get sponsors to turn their dash into cash, and tag Reuben's Retreat in photos on social media using the hashtag #RRSANTADASH.

In addition, there will be a Virtual Santa - a live Zoom call with the man himself live from the North Pole.

You can bring Santa and his elf to your front room with your very own appointment this Christmas.

It's £10 per household and slots are available on December 12, 13, 15, 16, 17 and 18.

To take part, you can book by visiting the Reuben's Retreat website here: https://www.reubensretreat.org/shop/
