Members of Glossop Business Network will meet face-to-face this week for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
The group, founded in 2005, meet on the third Friday of every month. Before the pandemic, they met at Glossop Cricket Club but it’s currently being used as a Covid vaccination centre.
Meetings have been taking place over Zoom for over a year but, now some coronavirus restrictions have been lifted, on Friday (16 July) their latest get-together will be at Square West (the old Co-op building) on Norfolk Square in Glossop town centre.
It will start at midday and run until 2pm. The networking fee is £15, which includes a meal - with a vegetarian option available.
People planning to attend are asked to book via www.glossopbusinessnetwork.co.uk to help with catering numbers.
As it’s the group’s first face-to-face meeting since the first lockdown last year, there will be no speaker at the event.
As ever, it will be a meeting of like-minded business people and all local businesses are welcome to come along to promote their own business.
