Glossop Cricket Club is appealing for any witnesses to anti-social behaviour to report it to the police, amid reports of groups of youths congregating on the club's grounds.
The club, based on North Road, has said it has received reports of groups of youths using the areas around the playing fields and car park both during the day and at night.
"We encourage the use of our facilities by everyone in the community, but some of these groups have been causing damage and seemingly engaging in illegal activities," a spokesperson said in a Facebook post.
"We want Glossop to be a safe place for all our kids and put a lot of time and effort into our junior section. To that end we're investing in our club with the aim of providing top class facilities for everyone in Glossop, but particularly youngsters.
"We'd hate for this investment to go to waste because of the actions of a few thoughtless individuals."
The club said it is "acting on these reports in various ways" and is appealing for people to report any anti-social behaviour witnessed on its grounds to Derbyshire Constabulary by calling 101.
Until recently, the club's facilities had been used as Glossopdale's main hub for Covid-19 vaccination clinics.
