Glossop firm shortlisted for award

A Glossop-based dog walking business is in the running for a national award.

Mountain Miles, which specialises in tailor made walks for energetic dogs, are finalists for the 'Best Dog Related Business' category of the Animal Star Awards.

A spokesperson for the team at Mountain Miles said: “We're absolutely over the moon to have even been nominated, let alone be finalists.

“It's so great for the team and company to get this kind of recognition and we definitely couldn't have done it without all our lovely clients.”

Launched by Scott Anderson in 2009, the business has expanded to a fully trained team of 14 who love nothing more than to grab their muddy walking boots and head for the hills in the company of energetic dogs.

The award ceremony is being held on 5 March.
