Glossop Mountain Rescue Team's Santa will be taking to his sleigh as he visits communities across Glossopdale this month.
From Monday 12 December through to Thursday 22 December, Santa’s sleigh will be visiting different areas each evening with Elsa from Frozen also joining on some of the visits.
The routes have been carefully planned out and include as many streets as possible.
Glossop MRT will have the Santa tracker again, via their Facebook page, which will enable everyone to watch Santa's progress and to know when he's near.
He will be visiting the following areas:
Mon 12: Hadfield North, Padfield & Tintwistle
Tue 13: Hadfield South
Wed 14: Hadfield Central
Thu 15: Gamesley & Charlesworth
Fri 16: Simmondley North inc Primrose Lane
Sat 17: Simmondley South
Mon 19: North Glossop
Tue 20: Old Glossop
Wed 21: Shirebrook Park
Thu 22: South Glossop: Pikes Lane & Whitfield
The team are all volunteers and so every penny donated goes to pay for essential equipment and supplies, to ensure they can help people who get into difficulty in the countryside around Glossop.
Anyone who wants to support their efforts can donate during Santa’s visit or by going on www.justgiving.com/glossopmrt
