Glossop North End are on the lookout for new directors as the club looks to improve off the pitch.
Chairman Dave Atkinson said: ‘We have achieved so much over the last few years culminating in promotion in 2015 and being able to compete at the higher level. It has long been an ambition of the club to compete at the level we are now at and we want to retain our place in the league, maybe in time to be able to push on even higher. These ambitions will not be realised without new investment into the club. The current board of directors is low in numbers and the skill sets and resources needed to compete effectively in the Northern Premier League are sparse in the quantity and quality we need. The club will always look to protect its long term longevity as a priority before increasing levels of on-field expenditure in the hope of taking the club forward , we hope that with a commercial, business minded ethos we can grow the clubs infrastructure whilst keeping the fans involved, and prosper in the years to come.’
The club is looking for individuals and/or a consortium with business acumen, contacts and resources to support the club strategically whilst the current board members continue to carry out the day to day running of the club.
