A 25-year-old woman from Glossop has been slapped with a fine after she was spotted 'driving erratically' on the motorway.

Sophie Manley was caught driving at high speed on the carriageway in heavy rain earlier this year.

Greater Manchester Police's Traffic division shared dash cam footage of the incident, where the police car following Sophie can be seen driving at speeds of 108 miles per hour on the M60 and M56.

Police said they had sighted her 'driving erratically' at 'high speed' in the 'poor weather', with the incident caught on camera at around 11.15pm on 23 February.

She was fined £627 and issued with five penalty points on her license when convicted of driving without due care and attention on Monday (31 October) at Tameside Magistrates' Court.
