Glossopdale Foodbank is appealing for help as it looks to relocate its headquarters.
The foodbank provides emergency food aid to people in financial crisis across Glossop, Gamesley, Hadfield and Tintwistle.
Its current operations are carried out at a small lock-up on Brookfield Industrial Estate, off Peakdale Road.
But the foodbank say it's now too small to meet its needs and it's looking for new premises to rent.
A spokesperson for Glossopdale Foodbank said: "If you, or anyone you know, has any suitable capacity in your premises that we could rent from you, please get in touch. Please note, this is not a request for charitable giving of any kind as we are willing to pay for a new premises. We are looking for ONE of the following options:
"Option 1: A bigger space on a ground floor so can expand what we offer to clients by inviting those who wish, to come to our premises and choose their own food, rather than just receive a pre-packed parcel as they do now.
"Option 2: An extra storage space for our donations for all year around.
"Option 3: An extra storage space from October-December for our Christmas donations."
Anyone who is able to help is asked to contact Glossopdale Foodbank co-ordinator Charlotte Mendes-Kelly by emailing charlotte.glossopdalefoodbank@gmail.com or send a private message to the Glossopdale Foodbank Facebook page.
