Green-fingered Fringe plants festival flowers

Buxton Fringe committee members met outside Buxton Opera House to plant up the first of the Fringe's orange "hot spots" recently.

Organisers are hoping to encourage more orange-themed floral displays around the town in the run up to the event, which runs from 7 to 25 July.

It will feature over 100 entrants in categories including theatre, comedy, music and more.

The Fringe wishes to thank Morrisons for the donation of compost and plants, as well as florist Kinders Garden for their watering and support.
