Hadfield Jumble Trail to raise money for local charity

There will be a celebration of community and recycling, as well as bargains to be had, in Hadfield this weekend whilst raising money for a local charity.

Hadfield Jumble Trail will take place on Sunday (11 October) between 10.30am and 3.30pm and everyone in the Hadfield community can take part.

In total, 22 residents will be setting up stalls in their front gardens to sell their forgotten treasures, with everything from clothing and furniture to homemade crafts available to purchase.

Bargain hunters can navigate their own trail through the streets with the aid of a map which provides each stall location.

Anyone who has any questions about the event can email sandymasseyhenderson@gmail.com

The map will go live on the Hadfield Jumble Trail - BUYERS INFORMATION ONLY Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/879822175716971 on the morning of the event, or you can get one from Edwards Wine Bar next to Hadfield train station on the day from 10am for 50p via an honesty box.

People are asked to respect stall holders by not arriving at houses until 10.30am onwards.

Due to government guidelines, all buyers will need to follow the Covid-19 measures in place and respect stall holders by using sanitisers and enforce social distancing. Stall holders are being advised to provide sanitisers for people to use.

All ticket sale profits will be donated to Hadfield-based charity Mummy's Star - which is dedicated to supporting women and their families where the mother is diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or within 12 months after giving birth.
