Hayfield picks May Queen royalty for 2023

The Queen will be Ava-Grace Ebbrell

Preparations are continuing for the Hayfield May Queen and this year’s royalty have been selected.

The Queen will be Ava-Grace Ebbrell, Tilly Needham is the Princess, and the Rosebud is Fleur Swirles. 

This coming Sunday, 5 March, visitors to Hayfield Village Hall will be able to take a stroll down memory lane at a Memorabilia Day open from 11am to 4pm. 

There will be pictures dating back to 1928, as well as refreshments, there will be a fundraising tombola, raffle, book stall, Mother’s Day gifts, and much more. 


The Rosebud is Fleur Swirles

During the event the new royalty will receive their sashes. 

The May Queen Disney themed parade will take place on Saturday 13 May before attention will move to the Old School Field with entertainment, fun fair and stalls and the crowning of the royalty. 

During the May Queens celebrations there will be a Food and Music Festival on Sunday 14 May, Pet Show on Wednesday 17 May and a Children’s Disco on Friday 19 May.
