People with a new year's resolution to actively improve their health and wellbeing are being encouraged to utilise support available to them.
Live Life Better Derbyshire is a healthy lifestyles service which offers advice and help on a wide range of health and wellbeing topics.
It covers stop smoking, weight management and getting active.
The service, ran by Derbyshire County Council, also signposts to help and support with mental health and wellbeing, falls prevention, alcohol awareness, housing and financial help.
Cllr Carol Hart, DCC's Cabinet Member for Health and Communities, said: "January’s the traditional time that we all make resolutions but these tend to fizzle out before the month has ended!
"Our Live Life Better Derbyshire service offers free health lifestyle support whether that’s stopping smoking, getting more active or losing weight.
"Small healthy changes can really add up to a big difference to your health – so why not get in touch."
People can take part in the Live Life Better Derbyshire service if they are a Derbyshire resident (excluding Derby City), work in Derbyshire (excluding Derby City) and are registered with a Derbyshire county GP practice.
