Edale Mountain Rescue Team came to the aid of a runner who sustained a head injury, a climber who lost consciousness and a walker who had fallen down a steep bank over the weekend.
The volunteers were called out on Sunday afternoon to help a runner who had tripped while running round Derwent Dams sustaining a head injury.
On Saturday evening, a walker needed help after they had stumped and fallen down a steep bank, and their injuries meant they couldn’t get back up. They were carried to an ambulance and taken to hospital for further treatment.
Earlier on Saturday, the team had been called to assist a climber who had lost consciousness. She was assisted back down to the road by members and taken by friends back home.
