Households across the High Peak have started to receive their £150 energy rebate from the borough council.
So far, the council has made 15,700 payments totalling more than £2.3 million and are paying more people as direct debit payments are received.
Those paying council tax on 1st or 15th of the month should have received payment on or shortly after 29 April.
More payments will be made in the coming weeks following successful direct debit payments which is how the council are verifying accounts.
High Peak Borough Council will be writing to all non-direct debit customers giving details of what they will need to do to claim their rebate payment.
