The Mayor of the High Peak, Councillor Paul Hardy, has held a charity golf tournament at Glossop and District Golf Club.
Friday's event was sponsored by Chris and Louise at One Stop Plumbing, on High Street West in Glossop.
The rain held off and 11 local teams played in the four-ball competition.
The winners of the tournament were Ladies Toning Tables with a score of 89 (the team of E Johnson, A McCormick, L Duffy and J Darcy were sponsored by Glenn Campbell).
Runners-up were Country Holmes with a score of 84 points. The winner of a Tesco Finest hamper for ‘nearest the line’ was Adam Corbally.

The winner of two Mediterranean platters at the Wheatsheaf in Old Glossop was Alan Bradley for ‘nearest the pin’.
Howard at R J Skuphams generously donated the Mayors Charity Shield and all the trophies.
Cllr Hardy has thanked all at Glossop and District Golf Club who helped to organise the event and all the players who supported the event which, through their generosity, raised over £2,200 for the mayor's three charities Glossop Mountain Rescue Team, Partington Players' Theatre and the Thomas Theyer Foundation.
