High Peak MP Robert Largan at a recent surgery in New Mills.
High Peak MP Robert Largan is continuing his open-air street surgeries this summer.
Over the next few weeks, surgeries are being held in Glossop, Chinley and Buxton on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12pm.
They will be held on:
· 26th June outside the Town Hall Arcade in Glossop
· 3rd July outside Morrisons, Buxton
· 17th July on the corner of Lower Lane and Green Lane in Chinley
The MP said: “It has been great seeing constituents face-to-face again. If you need help with any issues, have any questions or just want to say hello, I hope to see you there.”
Those attending are requested to wear a face mask and respect social distancing in line with national restrictions.
Dogs Trust Manchester is raising awareness about why some dogs are trained to wear a muzzle, hoping to change perceptions and encourage more people to consider adopting one of the muzzled dogs patiently waiting for their forever homes.
Train operator Northern will be helping racegoers gallop to the Grand National festival at Aintree this week, with extra trains running to get customers safely to the races and back home again.
