High Peak goes to the polls on Thursday (4 May) to elect councillors to High Peak Borough Council.
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm and for the first time, voters will need to take with them photo ID.
This can be a wide variety of documents such as passports, driving licences and bus passes.
In total, 43 councillors will be elected to represent 28 wards across the borough. There are 122 candidates contesting the election.
There will be lots of new faces on the council, regardless of who wins, as many longstanding members of the council, including seven former mayors and several former executive members are not seeking re-election.
The count takes place in Buxton on Friday and Adam Higgins and Emma Downes will be there to bring you the very latest as the day unfolds online, with a full report in next week's paper.
