High Peak Walks For Health resume on Thursday with the weekly 10am 'progression walk' from outside Glossop railway station on Norfolk Street.
There’s another station starting point for Tuesday’s regular ‘easy’ walk.
It’s from Newtown, Albion Road, New Mills and it leaves at 1.30pm.
For those who like tougher walks, there’s one described as ‘strenuous’ from Bowden Bridge, Hayfield, (SK049 869) 1pm on Wednesday.
The walks are free and open to everyone.
Easy walks last up to 90 minutes and may include stiles and hills.
Progression walks can take take two hours and will involve up-hill walking and it’s advisable to take a drink.
Strenuous walks last three hours and include stiles, hills and rough terrain.
Take a snack and a drink for a stop along the way.
