Hospice's Whaley Bridge shop to open on Wednesdays

Blythe House Hospicecare has confirmed it is now able to reopen its Whaley Bridge department store on Wednesday mornings from 9am to 1pm.

The shop on Market Street has been closed on Wednesdays since reopening after lockdown due to staff and volunteer capacity.

But the hospice's retail teams are returning safely, following government guidance including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The shop is accepting donations but people are advised to call first on 01663 735328 to check that they can take them.

Visitors are reminded that from Friday (24 July) wearing face coverings in the shop will be mandatory, unless you are exempt on medical grounds.
