Police Dog Nell more than deserved an extra ration of biscuits and bones, when she was sent with her handler to a road traffic collision in Chinley.
The driver of the car had disappeared so Nell was tasked to track and search for any occupants.
After some persistence, PD Nell picked up a track which she followed for more than three miles - right to the registered keeper/drivers door.
A police officer tweeted: "Not bad for a young dog (her handler did ok also)."
