Calling all Santas, elves, and festive fun enthusiasts: Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind is thrilled to announce their first ever Mental Elf Festive Fun Run, taking place on Sunday, December 1 at 11am in the beautiful Alexandra Park, Oldham.
This family-friendly event is open to all abilities and ages, making it the perfect way to kick off the festive season with a dose of exercise and community spirit. Participants can choose to walk, jog, skip, or run the 5km route, enjoying the winter wonderland atmosphere of Alexandra Park.
The Mental Elf Festive Fun Run is much more than just a fun run. It's a chance to:
• Support a great cause: All proceeds from the event will go directly to TOG Mind, helping them continue their vital work in supporting mental health in the local community.
• Get festive: Fancy dress is highly encouraged! Dust off your Santa hats, elf ears, and reindeer antlers for fun photo opportunities on the day.
• Celebrate achievement: All participants will receive a special 2024 Mental Elf Run medal to commemorate their accomplishment.
