Latest plans in the pipeline

High Peak Borough Council has given planning permission for 9A Charlestown Road in Glossop to be converted into a house.

The two-storey building was last used as a commercial garage, but had been vacant for several years.

Other planning applications given the go-ahead include:

  • Single storey rear extensions, Birchinlea, 15 Park Crescent, and 112 Sheffield Road, both Glossop.
  • Ground floor rear extension to replace conservatory and first floor side extension above the garage, 1 Holly Bank, Glossop.
  • The removal of dilapidated canopy and external timber stairs and convert it into a one bedroom dwelling, store at the rear of 17-19 Market Street, Chapel.
