A local choir is joining others across the UK to 'Sing The Change' in support of climate action in advance of the opening of the COP26 summit in Glasgow.
Across the country, choirs large and small will be coming together and taking over social media to perform a new version of ‘What A Wonderful World’, arranged by Mark De Lisser - the man behind the performance of ‘Stand By Me’ at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Let’s Sing Choir say they are thrilled to be a part of the musical moment and will be sharing their version online on Saturday (30 October).
It will be available to watch on their Facebook page (Let’s Sing Choir) and their website www.letssingacademy.co.uk.
The Let’s Sing Choir meets on Monday nights from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at The Place at Glossopdale School in Hadfield, and on Thursday nights from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Ryecroft Hall on Manchester Road in Audenshaw.
New members are welcome to join.
