Friday (25 June) saw a 'hair raising' effort from pupils at Hollingworth Primary School.
The youngsters were all keen to get involved with Mad Hair Day held to raise funds for the Market Street school’s PTA.
As well as brightly coloured hair, there were intricate braids and wacky wigs on display.
The PTA play a vital role in the school and have previously provided funding for various activities including the Young Voices coach, Safe Squad coach and books for all the children.
The funds raised by this event will enable them to continue to provide valuable support.
