A man is due in court after being charged following an incident in Hadfield.
Thomas Ferguson, 28, of Marple Bridge, has been charged with burglary and affray.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court on Monday (17 April).
A spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary said they were called to an incident at a property on Hadfield Road just after 1.30pm on Saturday (15 April) and a man was arrested at the scene.
Hadfield Road was closed for a period from the junction with Railway Street for several hours, with police diverting traffic down Redgate.
