A man has died after a car crash on the A6 Chapel-en-le-Frith bypass.
A spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary said the force was called to a collision at around 9.55pm on Sunday evening (9 July).
A Honda Civic vehicle had collided with the central reservation.
The driver, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Police said his family have been made aware.
The A6 Chapel-en-le-Frith bypass was closed between Chapel-en-le-Frith and Whaley Bridge was closed until 2am on Monday morning as emergency services responded.
