Detectives investigating after three men broke into a man's flat, attacked him and stole cash and a mobile phone are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
It happened shortly before 11.50pm last Sunday (11 October), when the man heard a loud bang at the door of his flat in Eagle Parade in Buxton as if it was about to be forced open.
Shortly after that, three men forced their way into the flat and began attacking him.
The men then stole a black leather wallet containing a quantity of cash and a Samsung S10 mobile phone before leaving the flat.
Two of the burglars were described as white, around 6ft tall, and wearing all black clothing.
The third was black, around 6ft tall, and was wearing black clothing and black gloves.
All of them had their faces covered.
The male victim was treated by ambulance staff for injuries which are not described as life threatening or life changing.
