A man was taken to hospital after a serious crash involving two vehicles just outside Glossop.
It happened on the A624 Glossop Road at Little Hayfield just before 3.30pm on Sunday afternoon (21 August).
Police and paramedics from East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to reports of a collision, which involved a Triumph Tiger motorbike and a Volvo XC60.
One man was taken to hospital having suffered serious injuries, a spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary has confirmed.
Residents on social media reported seeing an air ambulance close to the scene, while there was a heavy traffic in the area and the number 61 bus was also affected.
The road was closed between the junction of Monks Road and Little Hayfield while emergency services attended and the vehicles were recovered, before reopening just after 6pm.
