It will now be January at the earliest before a decision is made on controversial plans for a new McDonald's restaurant and drive-thru to be built in Glossop.
The application had been expected to go before the Development Control Committee meeting on Monday 12 December but has been put back until the New Year.
The application is currently expected to go before the committee at its meeting on 23 January.
The fast-food giant wants to build a drive-thru and restaurant on the site of the former Wrens Nest pub off Glossop Brook Road, in proposals that have split opinion locally.
If approved, the development will create new jobs but concerns have been raised including the impact it could have on traffic congestion.
