Three men who stole valuable paving stones from a churchyard in Glossop have been jailed.
The thieves targeted Glossop Parish Church of All Saints, on Church Street South, as well as seven other churches across the North West between January and March 2022.
Using stolen vans, they moved the stones - which were worth around £117,000 - to Wigan before being sold on.
Jason Perry, 49, Connor Lipinski, 28, and Owen Lipinski, 31, have now been sentenced at Chester Crown Court.
Perry, of Walshaw Street, Oldham, was jailed for four years after he admitted conspiracy to steal, handling stolen goods, and driving while disqualified.
After pleading guilty to conspiracy to steal, Connor Lipinski, of Gale Court, Rochdale, was jailed for three years while Owen Lipinski, of Newark Road, Rochdale, was sentenced to 15 months, suspended for two years.
