A walker out enjoying the lovely weather on Thursday (13 January) slipped on wet ground and injured her wrist trying to stop her fall.
For volunteers from Edale Mountain Rescue Team, it was their fourth incident of the year already.
They were able to provide pain relief and a splint for the suspected break.
The casualty was carried on a stretcher to the road before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
