MP candidate's office gets vandalised in Whaley Bridge

MP Conservative candidate Robert Largan’s office in Whaley Bridge has been vandalised with graffiti reading “zionist child killer”.

The slogan was painted on the window in red paint, and it is currently not known who is responsible.

Robert Largan's Labour opponent, Jon Pearce commented, on the picture that Mr Largan posted on his X account: “I’m so sorry to see this Robert. I hope you and all your staff are ok. It is absolutely vile and disgusting. I hope whoever did this is caught and prosecuted.”

Robert Largan said: “My staff are dedicated and work so hard to help local people. They don’t deserve to be subjected to this while they are just trying to do their jobs.

“I want to thank local residents Bill and Barry, who came down to volunteer and help clean things up. I won’t be intimidated. I’ll keep standing up for High Peak!"
