Nearly new sale at Glossopdale

The Glossop and District branch of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) will be holding its next Nearly New Sale this weekend.

It will be on Saturday (19 October) from 11am to 12.30pm at The Place at Glossopdale School on Newshaw Lane in Hadfield.

NCT Glossop support new parents and parents-to-be, offering support, information and friendship by organising regular events.

Chika Sato Jones, one of the organisers, said: "There's always lots of warm coats, toys, books and anything you need from maternity wear to high chairs and cots and PJ's and shoes."

Among the other items on sale are prams, bikes, baby baths, games, furniture, puzzles and maternity wear, which are checked for quality, labelled and sorted by age.

There will also be cake and craft stalls.

NCT members and volunteers will get early entry at 10.30am.

Entry is £1.50 per adult.
