An application has been submitted to amend the opening times of a proposed new pizza takeaway in Gamesley.

It comes after approval was granted for the business to open on Melandra Castle Road, next to the One Stop store.

However, in the conditions, the opening hours were set as 7am to 10pm Monday – Saturday and 9am to 10pm Sunday and Bank Holidays.

As the core time for such a business is afternoon-evening trade, they are requesting to amend the times to 12noon to 11pm Sunday – Thursday and 12noon to 1am Friday - Saturday.

The application is available to view on the council’s website at www.highpeak.gov.uk
