Nostalgia: Taking to the tram

This is how Station Road in Hadfield used to look when many of the main roads in and out of Glossopdale bristled with tracks and there were plenty of trams trundling over them.

This rather special vehicle was hired by Cllr Richard Seller, around 90 years ago, possibly to show off his store to his VIP guests.

Judging by the decorated tram, it must have been something special.
