Nuisance off-road motorbikers seen in Hadfield

Police have launched an appeal for help after receiving a report from a concerned member of the public about two nuisance off-road motorcyclists seen in Hadfield.

The riders were seen on Tuesday morning (23 March) not wearing helmets or displaying visible registration plates.

One rider was described as wearing a dark-coloured balaclava, while one of the bikes was said to look white with white mudguards.

The pair were initially seen at approximately 11.20am heading on the public footpath towards Bottoms Reservoir off Goddard Lane in Hadfield.

The same two motorbikes were then seen again at around 12.25pm driving on the road at Bankbottom from the Station Road direction - heading towards Tintwistle.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the riders, or knows where the bikes originate from, is asked to get in touch with police by calling 101 or report it online at https://www.derbyshire.police.uk/contactus, quoting occurrence reference 21000072353.
