People in Whaley Bridge can meet their local firefighters this weekend.
The town's fire station is holding an open day on Saturday (13 August).
There will be useful demonstrations such as how to deal with a chip pan fire.
Fire crews will also be staging a demonstration.
The event takes place from 10am to 3pm and there’ll be other attractions including a vintage fire engine, bouncy castle and a steam engine.
All money raised by the event will go to the Firefighters Charity.
