Parents in Hadfield are being warned they could soon be facing a knock on the door and a surprise visit from officers investigating anti-social behaviour in the area.
They are being urged to ensure they know where their children are, who they are with and what they are doing after a further spate of ASB incidents were reported to Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team.
The latest incidents took place in and around the Station Road, Kiln Lane, Bank Street and Wesley Street areas of Hadfield between 2.50pm and 8.45pm on Sunday (8 August).
Involved were a group of young people ranging in the ages of 11 to 16 years old – both boys and girls.
Four parked cars on Wesley Street have also been damaged and members of the group are believed to be involved.
When challenged by adults about their behaviour, the group have been abusive and threatening.
Anyone with information, or CCTV or dash cam footage that can assist officers with their ongoing enquiries or help identify those responsible, is asked to contact Derbyshire Police on 101, or online - quoting occurrence reference 21*435139.
